How To Minister The Gospel Of Christ To A Muslim Fellow

Over the years, I have tried preaching the gospel of Christ to countless Muslims, and over time I have taken the time to study their belief system, and I have found out what makes them hostile and sometimes unreceptive to the preaching of the gospel of Christ. It is a very huge lie hidden within the pages of their Quran about Jesus Christ.

This lie is what I will show you today from this article and how to tackle it with wisdom when a Muslim throws such a lie to your face in the form of a question or objection.

Before we commence with this, let me quickly say that the Quran has almost all the stories found in or contained in the Bible.

For example, the stories of Adam and Eve, David and Goliath, Abraham, Noah, etc. are all found in the Quran (later, I will explain why this is so as we proceed).

Almost all the biblical characters found in the Bible are also found in the Quran; the only thing is that, in the Quran, the names of the characters in the Bible were changed.  Because the Quran was written in Arabic.

For Example:

Abraham in the Bible is known as Ibrahim in the Quran.

ISHMAEL in the Bible is known as Ismaeli in the Quran.

Jesus in the Bible is known as Issa in the Quran, and many other bible characters had their names changed in the Quran.

That’s why, if you ask a Muslim if they believe in Abraham, David, or Jesus, they will say yes because stories about them were found in the Quran.

The Quran also states how a virgin Mary became pregnant and gave birth to a child named Issa (Jesus in our Bible).

The Muslims believe in the supernatural birth of Jesus (Issa in the Quran) but they don’t believe that Issa was killed on the cross for the sins of the whole world. They don’t believe that Jesus is actually the son of God; they only believe that Jesus is a mighty prophet of Allah.

The Muslims believe that when Issa was supposed to be killed on the cross, Issa ran away; nobody saw him to kill him. So Christians are wrong to believe Jesus died for their sins.

Issa ran away; he escaped; he was rescued by Allah; they didn’t kill him; this is what most if not all Muslims believe as stated in their Quran. While other groups of Muslims say that Allah made another man take the form of Issa (Jesus), that this man Allah made resembled Issa. So when the people were killing this Issa, they thought they were killing the main Issa, but the main Issa had already escaped.

And this lie was what this ex-Muslim fellow threw at me on Sunday, and if I didn’t understand biblical history, I wouldn’t have known how to tackle such a lie and bring the truth clearly to him.

You know what the Bible says: A man can only be saved from his sins if he believes and confesses that Jesus died on the cross for his sins and was raised again from the dead as Lord over all things.

[9]That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

Romans 10:9 KJV

So the devil knows that believing that Jesus died for sin and was raised from the dead is how humanity, men, or everyone will have salvation. The devil knows this; that’s why He will try to come up with a lot of lies to try to get people to disbelieve this fact about Jesus, that he died, was buried, and that God raised him from the dead.

The Muslim religion is not of God; it is of the Devil; it is a trap used by the devil in the name of religion to cage men in darkness so that they will not accept their salvation found only in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Note that I am not trying to say that every Muslim person is a devil or of the devil. Not at all; they are not; in fact, we have nice and kind Muslim individuals, very very well behaved both in character and conduct and as much as that is important, the salvation that Christ brings, the translation from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of light, is far far superior to character and conduct; it is about functioning and radiating the character of God. The Muslims are all just victims of this blindfold used by the devil in the name of their religion to shield their minds from embracing the truth of God’s word.

The Muslim religion is a religion in which its people are on a bus heading to hell; they will go to hell if they don’t believe that Jesus Christ is the Saviour for all their sins and that Christ is their only vehicle to heaven, the only way to heaven.

Jesus speaking in the Bible, said:

[24]I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he (the Saviour or the Christ), ye shall die in your sins.

John 8:24 KJV

So here’s how I was able to bring that Muslim guy out of such lies last Sunday: that lie of the Quran says that Issa (Jesus) was not killed but rather escaped or ran away; that lie of saying that Jesus is not the son of God but was just only a prophet of Allah. Here’s how I was able to bring him out of such a lie.  Now read carefully.

The Quran, which wrote about Issa, actually stated where Jesus was born; that Jesus was born in Bethlehem, and Bethlehem is a place found within the borders of Israel, or the Israelite Nation.

Now you should understand that when Sarah, Abraham’s wife, was unable to bear a child for her husband. Sarah brought her female servant, Haggai to her husband so that her husband may sleep with her, so that through her servant, Abraham will then have a child. Haggai became pregnant and gave birth to a son whose name was called Ishmael. Later on, Sarah became pregnant and gave birth to a son whose name was Isaac.

So Abraham had two sons, which are Isaac and Ishmael.

From the lineage of Isaac came the nation of Israel, which is the custodian of the Jewish religion. From the lineage of Ishmael came the Arabic nation, which is a custodian of the Islamic religion we see today in our world.

I asked the Muslim guy if he knew that this thing I was saying was true; he said yes, he knew because he had been well-schooled on this.

So we see the Islamic religion came out of the lineage of Ishmael, whose mother was Haggai and whose father was Abraham. From the Ishmaelite lineage came the origin of the Arabic nation, which became the birthplace of the Islamic religion.

The Islamic religion did not originate in the nation of Israel, and Israel is one of the descendants of Isaac. Isaac is also a son of Abraham, whose mother is Sarah, so why then? Will Prophet Muhammad say he knows everything about Issa? When Issa is an Israelite, not an Ismaelite.  Why will Prophet Muhammad conclude that Issa didn’t die when he wasn’t in the Israelite nation to witness it?

Prophet Muhammad hails from the Ishmael descendants and not the Isaac descendants. Prophet Muhammad is of the Arabic nation and not the Israelite nation.

Then I gave an example to the Muslim guy.

Let’s say you are a citizen of Turkey and you are based in Nigeria. Can someone in the UK, Canada, or Tokyo know everything about you better than those staying in Turkey?

The Muslim guy said No, a stranger cannot know me better than my own kinsmen.

Then I continued.

So also Jesus was born in Bethlehem, a place in Israel; his hometown was in Nazareth, a place also found in Israel.

When Issa (Jesus) was arrested, those in Israel saw it, especially those staying within the boundaries of when this happened. A lot of people in Israel saw when Jesus was arrested, beaten, and then taken to the cross to die. People saw him when Issa was nailed to the cross and then died there. He didn’t escape the way the Quaran had put it; he died, and people in Isreal saw it, and that fact was documented as history. In fact, the historical book about this occurrence is still found in Israel today.

Issa died on the cross, and then his people who saw it cannot be lying about this fact because it was an eyewitness account.

Issa’s hometown, people saw him die; it was truly Issa (Jesus) that died on the cross.

So the prophet Muhammad, who is an Ishmaelite and not an Isrealite, is not in the proper place to say what happened to Issa or not. A stranger cannot know you better than your own household members.

Prophet Muhammad is of the Arabic nation and not the Israelite nation, even though he traveled there to learn scriptures from the Israelite nation; that’s how he knew most of those biblical stories written in the Quran.

He was curious to find out the knowledge his father Abraham passed on to Isaac about God because, even though Abraham had two sons, which are Isaac and Ishmael.

Isaac stayed with Abraham, while Ishmael and his mother were driven away from Abraham when Ishmael was still young.

So Ishmael never inherited the knowledge and the culture Abraham had about God, but Isaac did.

Isaac stayed with his father and learnt all of God’s ways and teachings from him, but Ishmael was an outcast. who was driven away and stayed far away from the wisdom of Abraham.

[9]And Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian, which she had born unto Abraham, mocking.

[10]Wherefore she said unto Abraham, Cast out this bondwoman and her son Ishmael: for the son of this servant woman shall not be heir with my son, even with Isaac.

Genesis 21:9-10 KJV

Ishmael and his mother were driven away and became outcasts in a faraway land. From Ishmael came forth the Ismaelite nation, known as the Arabic nations, whose major religion is Islam.

So Prophet Muhammad knew that the Ismaelite nation or Arabic nation never had the wisdom of their forefather, Abraham, and that the wisdom of Abraham was found in Israel because the Israel nation was from the descendants of Isaac. So Prophet Muhammad traveled to Isreal to become a scholar there. He went to Israel to learn scripture; all those bible stories found in the Quran were in Israel, where he learnt them; he didn’t receive them as any revelation from God.

However, when he finally left Israel, back to his Arab or Ishmaelite country, he felt he had arrived because he had gone over to Israel to learn the wisdom of Abraham; he made himself a self-acclaimed prophet and then omitted some of the things he had learnt in Israel and twisted some of his findings into the lies you now find in the Quran.

Prophet Muhammad lied about Issa; the devil used him to cook up such lies to form a new religion that would shield the minds of men from believing in the real truth about Issa (Jesus).

“Ah, don’t say that,” the Muslim guy said to me after hearing all these things I said to him about the prophet Muhammad.

I said to him, now to prove to you that the name of Jesus is powerful so that you believe in him, do you know that when I came here to meet with you before I began sharing all of these things with you, the Lord told me about your sick mom?

“My sick mum?” The Muslim man had said, but I spoke with her last week, and she was fine.

Then I told him, Yeah, she wanted you to believe that she was fine so that you would not worry yourself to death. Now pick up your phone and call her.

The Muslim guy picked up his phone and called her; the mom on the phone affirmed everything that I had told her son to be true, and I prayed for his mom, and the mom got healed straight away.

That’s how this Muslim guy believed in Jesus and got saved.

He believed that Jesus (Issa) died for his sins, was buried, and was raised again from the dead.

A real-life story by Bro. Jonah Kingsley on how he got a Muslim guy saved in Christ.
